CONEC-ES™ product is a data center product that, like the CONEC-CO™ product supports businesses that have technology platforms where someone or some thing has to communicate with the platform either through keyboard commands or through a machine-to-machine device. CONEC-ES™ is designed so all server equipment is located in one location (i.e. Data Center). Users access the CONEC-ES™ via a CONEC client installed on a desktop, laptop, or workstation computer. While ideally serving the telecommunications central offices environments, CONEC-ES™ is a fit for any industry that has the same needs. Users can access CONEC-ES™ using existing internal networks and access switch and network elements that are connected to internal networks, whether IP or legacy based systems, anywhere at anytime. As with the CO product, CONEC-ES™ allows users to communicate using a TL1 session or APP2APP industry access applications and provides the same toolsets and functionality of the CO product at an enterprise level. CONEC-ES™ is a complete scaleable, redundant hardware and software solution that can grow as companies migrate from legacy systems to IP based systems.
CONEC-ES™ is highly scalable, capable of supporting thousands of users and tens of thousands of network elements. The system has very high reliability with virtually no ‘down-time’. 100% availability in distributed server architecture and is able to synchronize data across multiple servers in separate data centers. CONEC-ES™ provides robust administrative controls over individual and group accounts, can provide destination control or access/deny to specific network elements, logs event and command logging on individual users including the use of date/time stamps and is able to revoke access by specific individuals to the tool and remote destinations. The system provides full session time-out capability with a rapid disconnect of the communication channel.
CONEC-ES™ provides the same robust set of features to secure otherwise unprotected local and remote access to switch and carrier systems resident in the CO product. These features include login and password protection, user permission access partitioning, and an audit trail that records each user’s activities while interfacing with a system. Importantly, password protection significantly minimizes the risk of unauthorized personnel to access critical systems and enter unmonitored commands that could potentially cause catastrophic network failures. |
