| CONEC™ systems provide tools that allow technicians to better manage technology for which they have accountability, either locally or from a remote location. The CONEC™ application can access network elements from a single desktop using the same vendor applications that provide a GUI point and click communications, can perform remote loop backs and cross connects, archives log data and provides search and browse tools to view log data and alarms, can be used to remotely perform back-ups on network element equipment and provides technical document viewers with copy and paste command functions into active windows, among other features. Without CONEC™, office personnel can only interface with a single CO system as long as they are physically co-located with this system. With CONEC™ the access to multiple IP or legacy systems can be managed by anyone from anywhere. CONEC™ supports both TL1 sessions and APP2APP industry access applications noted below, and provides access to Operations Support Systems (OSS) applications such as TIRKS, LMOS and WFA. |
